Instead of stepping on the scale, drink a glass of water.

Instead of saying, “I don’t like _____ about myself,” declare, “I’m a badass!”

Instead of thinking, “This is the biggest I’ve been,” challenge yourself by trying a new class at your gym or in your garage.

Instead of proclaiming, “I’m fasting every morning,” fuel your day with a healthy option that energizes you.

At the end of the year, what kind of moments do you want to reflect on?

For me, health is wealth. The two are intertwined with my life’s principles.

I want the strength and ability to create lasting experiences with family and friends, and to embrace new challenges. These moments bring fulfillment and joy to life.

Who wants to look back and say, “Hey, I weighed myself every day this past year and lost an average of 5 pounds!” Could that scale be weighing you down in more ways than one?

Take captive those thoughts that are not affirming the life you so desire, by shifting them in a healthy direction.
